FAQ & Tips

FAQ

Regarding our minifig parts and accessories:

They are recommended for ages 14+ and have small parts which can be a choking hazard for those 3 years and under. They are designed for display and or light play use. We try to make our items as durable as possible, but in order to get better scaled parts with higher detail everything gets smaller, so care should be taken.

Tips

Recommended glue and tools:
Please make sure to use proper protection and ventilation when using sharp tools, glues and solvent based paints.

Glue:
Cyanoacrylate glue - My favorite is Locktite 401, but Zap CA Medium and Thin are also great. There are many other brands of CA glue, your local hobby shop is a great place to get quality CA.

CA Glue Applicator.
It can be as simple as a toothpick or a small piece of wire. Custom tools can be made from a chopped sewing needle as shown below.

Tools for applying parts:
Tweezers are very helpful in placement of small parts, one of my favorites is below.

Rhinestone placement tools work great for picking up small parts.

A small piece of blue tack on the end of a stick also works good for picking up and placing detail parts.
